Portable chicken pen built with quality materials to last for many years. I use only hand selected treated lumber, galvanized wire, coated deck screws (no nails). This is a solid pen that comes with nest boxes, feed and water systems, roost poles, 10-inch flat free tires, fully covered with a material that does not transfer heat to the chickens like a metal roof does. the upstairs has roost poles and nest boxes and a wire floor that lets droppings fall through to the ground which eliminates 90% of clean up. The feed and water systems are on the first floor. The water system features chicen nipple drinkers and a 5-gallon water supply. I have been building this pen for many years. The pen pictured here is a 6' x 8' pen space which will hold up to 12 chickens. I Build larger sizes also, same design. This pen also shows an optional 2 wire construction. Standard construction uses 2x4 galvanized construction only.
Built for the needs of the chickens and user friendly for the chicken owner. This pen has special trailer requirements. You will need a trailer that has 80 inches wide between the fender welds for you to haul it home on. This pen will wear out a lot of chickens. No one builds a pen of this quality for any price.
