We are actively seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. Support our mission to providing excellent dental care in the community and help us cree more smiles and memorable experiences. Get out into your community -- participe in local events including school screenings, presentions and any opportunity to promote a positive image of us
Participe in morning huddles (hey, even ask to run one!), let your peers know how much you apprecie them, highlight gre examples of customer focus, collaborion etc.
Love working with kids (they make up 70% or more of our pient base)
Responsibilities:
Deliver quality and compassione care to every pient
Guide parents and pients through our processes before trement
Educe pients in oral hygiene instruction and provide postoperive instruction
Prepare pient for examinion and trement
Take x-rays and save to pient charts
Take quality orthodontic facial photos Responsible for the operional readiness
Prepare tray set-ups for dental procedures
Mix amalgam, cement, pulp paste and prepare impression merials
Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
Clean chairs and rooms
Assist professional dental staff with trement
Document pient informion, trement plans, and procedures in pient chart
Pour, trim and polish impression casts
Fabrice custom impression trays
Perform to the highest integrity by adhering to all government regulions, company standards, and company compliance programs
Other duties as assigned
Qualificions:
Orthodontic or Dental Assistant Certificion (Ste dependent)
Preferred least 1 year of experience in Orthodontic Assisting
CPR/BLS Certificion Required
Willing to travel in territory assigned to team
High focus on customer service and sisfaction
Must love working with children
Compassion and high level of service for our pients, parents and staff
Integrity, always doing the right thing
Dependable, reliable to be work when scheduled
Attention to detail
Able to organize work, engage in a variety of tasks simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines
