Position Summary

The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial heing, ventilion, and air conditioning systems. This role ensures systems opere efficiently, safely, and in compliance with manufacturer specificions and local codes. The technician works independently or as part of a service team to provide timely solutions for commercial clients, while maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair commercial HVAC systems including rooftop units, chillers, boilers, air handlers, and controls

• Perform preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment to optimize efficiency and longevity

• Read and interpret blueprints, schemics, and manufacturer manuals

• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant system issues

• Install HVAC components and ensure proper system operion and calibrion

• Ensure compliance with local, ste, and nional codes and safety regulions

• Maintain accure service logs, parts usage, and work orders

• Communice clearly with clients regarding service needs, recommendions, and estimed costs

• Opere and maintain service tools and diagnostic equipment

• Follow company and OSHA safety protocols, including confined space and lift operions

Qualificions

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or HVAC certificion preferred

• 3+ years of commercial HVAC service experience

• EPA Section 608 Certificion

• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, refrigerion, and controls

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schemics

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds, work in confined spaces, and heights

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

• Excellent communicion and customer service skills

• OSHA safety certificion preferred
