About the Role:
I.T. Inspirations LLC is seeking reliable Low Voltage Technicians for part-time project work. This position has varying weekday hours and is strictly for COMMERCIAL applications. This is NOT a residential position. 🚨 CRITICAL REQUIREMENT: EXPERIENCE & INDEPENDENCE 🚨
WE ARE ONLY LOOKING FOR EXPERIENCED TECHNICIANS. There is NO training provided for this role. You will be the ONLY technician working on these sites. You must have the skills to receive the work order, go to the site, and successfully accomplish the job entirely on your own.
You must be highly experienced in running, terminating, and troubleshooting Cat6 cabling.
You must be experienced in installing commercial network equipment. (Experience with EMT conduit is a strong plus).
You must be able to read and execute strict Scopes of Work with clean wire management.
🚨 CRITICAL REQUIREMENT: TRANSPORTATION 🚨
You must have your own reliable vehicle to transport yourself and your tools to job sites. WE DO NOT PROVIDE COMPANY VEHICLES AT ALL. You must be willing to travel 30 to 40 miles within the local area.
Required Tools:
You must arrive at the commercial site fully equipped. You are required to own:
Punch-down tool (110/66 block), RJ45 modular crimpers, snips, and wire strippers
Network cable tester and Toner/probe kit
Power drill, impact driver, and basic hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, tape measure)
Fish tape and/or glow rods for wall drops
