This is a 96 Carl Thompson bass in great shape. If you love walnut, then you'll love this bass! Please note there's some significant playing/nail wear under the G string.
It features walnut boby and core with orange dyed wood (probably poplar or maple) accents. The neck is one piece maple with a rosewood board and 24 frets with a 36 inch scale.
Headstock has matching veneers and sperzel locking tuners. One key feature is a handmade adjustable bridge, which is insane. It's super light and well balanced as any CT.
This bass came to me with a Bartolini DC pickup with some dinky black metal knobs and had disconnected the original output and moved it to the face. I reconnected the original jack, added a switch for on/tone bleed/off, and replaced the pickup with a Nordstrand Big Rig. I also had custom made wood knobs and pickup cover made from walnut and paduk.
Comes with a gig bag and will be extremely well packed.
