Professionally converted (by me) to an E-Drum Set: 4-piece Ludwig Breakbeats by Questlove Acoustic drum kit - now with brand new Dolby Epic Mesh 2-ply mesh heads and dual triggers on all drums except the Kick of course. Tested on Alesis Surge module and also a flagship Gewa G9 module - sound perfect, trigger perfectly. Rims covered with black silicone 1/4" hose. These drums can be converted back to Acoustic with very little effort if that's what you want to do in the future. I'll include the acoustic drum heads.
If you are tired of playing your small flimsy electronic pads - upgrade to REAL, solid, wood drums with this converted kit.
Heads up: don't confuse these Breakbeats drums with the new Questlove Pocket kits - which are essentially a child size beginner kit. Two very different kits. These Breakbeats are small size but professional level drums - I see some today on Reverb, priced new at $599 for the 4-piece kits.
***Drum Module is not included***
Head Diameter x Depth, in inches:
16 x 14 Kick (this one has a UFODrums kick drum trigger bridge - $140, see pic)
13 x 13 Floor tom w/legs
10 x 7 Tom
14 x 5 Snare (I will send/include the snare wires which will enable you to convert back to acoustic)
Legs for floor tom included.
Center pole for mounting Tom on Bass drum included.
DW Drum riser included.
No Other Hardware included.
PLEASE NOTE THIS: due to the fact that it's drilled and installed, I'm including a REALLY nice and EXPENSIVE DW drum riser - one of the best I've ever seen and not seeing anywhere for sale anymore. This riser is rock solid and adjustable front to back and height-wise as well. I hate to let this DW riser go, but it's installed on the Kick (drilled 4 holes to mount it) and I'm just not going to take if off and sell the Kick with these holes - that would be seriously uncool.
Original, used acoustic Heads for each drum included. If you want, you can convert them to acoustic and just leave the triggers in place - then back to Electronic if and when you want - giving you ultimate flexibility that you can't get with pure E-drums.
Please look at the numerous pictures I've provided. This is a NICE E-Kit for any level drummer. As an acoustic kit, these have quite impressive sound, tone and are small for gigging.
